EAT: SAMUELSSON ANNOUNCES 2ND HARLEM EATERY

While downtown restauranteurs such as Danny Meyers are still trying to figure out how to enter the Harlem market, uptown's own celebrity chef Marcus Samuelsson has announced that he will open another venture on FDB/8th Avenue within the next few months.  This new eatery is described as a kitchenette called Streetbird Rotisserie and will debut within the long vacant corner commercial space at 2149 Frederick Douglass by the 116th Street subway stop.  Our first choice for more formal dining in Harlem has always been Red Rooster on Lenox Avenue but having a more affordable regular spot by one of the top chefs in the world is something we will take over Shake Shack any day.  More news definitely to come in the following weeks, so stay tuned!
